California Has Spoken: Meet the 2026 Consumers’ Choice Winners

The California Cannabis Awards take a multi-pronged approach. It starts with science, as samples are tested for a wide range of cannabinoids and terpenes. Finalists are assessed by cannabis connoisseurs to select the winners. 

And then, the people get to have their say.

Thousands of votes were cast in the 2026 Consumers Choice contest, powered by embarc. And at the end of the day, only one brand could call itself the people’s champ. 

That brand happens to be Santa Ana-based Trichome.

Trichome is a cannabis triple threat, offering solventless vapes, concentrates, and edibles. Made by My Green Network, the products have won numerous accolades at the California Cannabis Awards, including gold, silver, and bronze medals.

But if you ask the team at Trichome, taking home top honors in the Consumers Choice Awards is something special.

"As consumers ourselves, we set out to make products we’d want to see on the shelves, made with flower grown by farmers we admire,” said founder Ken Hwang. “To take home a win from our peers so early in our brand’s story means more to us than we can put into words."
