The Ultimate Guide to Fresno Events in June 2023

Summer has arrived, and the month of June marks the beginning of an influx of both indoor and outdoor events for fun-seeking people to attend. So whether you want to beat the heat by staying indoors or enjoy the sunshine at an event that’s being put on outside, there’s most definitely something going on this month for you to enjoy. We love throwing events here at Embarc, so we thought we’d share some that are coming up in June that sparked our interest.

KICK OFF SUMMER WITH THESE FRESNO EVENTS

When looking for a bit of fun in Fresno to start your summer off strong, attending an event is a sure way to ensure you have a blast and kick off your summer the right way. You may be asking yourself how you choose from so many possibilities. Well, we’ve curated a list of events, and we think that there’s something on it you’d be stoked to take part in alone, with your friends, or family members!

Art Hop at Tioga Sequoia Brewery Beer Garden – June 1st

Starting at 5 pm and running until 11 pm, Art Hop is a great way to get out and enjoy your Thursday evening. The event will have live DJs, over 10 food trucks, and 15 local vendors to enjoy as the night progresses. Can’t go wrong with great food, drinks, and shopping!

80s Night with Max Headroom Band at Engelmann Cellars – June 2nd

If live music and good wine are your things, make sure to check this event out. Doors open at 6 pm and the live music will run from 7 pm to 10 pm. Wine, beer, frosé, food trucks, and some good 80s jams will surely provide plenty of entertainment for your Friday evening. Tickets start at $15 presale and go to $20 at the door. There are also VIP table seats available for $85. Make sure to check out 80s night at the vineyard, we think you’ll have a great time!

Fresno Rainbow Pride Festival at Fresno City College – June 3rd

Running from 11 am to 3 pm, Fresno’s Pride Festival is a great option for someone looking to enjoy their Saturday afternoon outdoors with plenty to do. Score prepaid VIP tickets online for $5, giving you access to the plethora of available activities on sight. This includes booths, food trucks, a shady beer garden, live music, DJs, a surprise guest, and a bunch more! If you’re free on the 3rd most definitely consider checking out this wonderful event.

Fresno Grizzlies vs. Lake Elsinore Storm at Chukchansi Park – June 6th

With a start time of 6:50 pm on a Tuesday night, make sure to get to the park early to enjoy the pregame festivities and grab something from concessions so you don’t miss any of the in-game action. There’s nothing like an evening baseball game during Fresno’s early summer when it cools off at night. If you’re up for it Tuesday night on the 6th, head downtown for an evening of excitement and watch the Grizzlies get a win!

OhGeesy at The Rainbow Ballroom – June 6th

Fans of rap music may want to check out OhGeesy Tuesday night starting at 8 pm. A classic venue in the Fresno Area, The Rainbow Ballroom is known to host popular and upcoming rap artists. Tickets are going for $29.50, and at that price, we think they’re a steal. This could be a great way to add some nightlife to your summer plans!

Pokemon Fresno Regional Championship at Fresno Convention Center – June 8th-11th

Whether you want to participate or spectate, this event could be the one for you. It is indoors, so you won’t have to worry about the summer heat. Starting Thursday at 3 pm, this event runs through Sunday, so there will be plenty of opportunities for you to check out some of the action. If you want to play in the tournament, registration is still open, but make sure you don’t take too much time if you don’t want it to close.

Comedy in the Brewery at Full Circle Brewing Co. – June 10th

Looking for a good laugh? You might find yourself interested in driving downtown to Full Circle Brewing Co. Saturday night to catch comedian Jesus Sepulveda at 7:00 pm. General admission tickets are $30, but there are also 4-seat VIP tables available for $160 and 6-seat VIP tables for $195 if you want to go with a group or are just feeling fancy. Laughter is the best medicine, and it pairs perfectly with cannabis. We think you’ll have a ball if you choose to attend this comedy event.

Eddie Pepitone Late Show at Full Circle Brewing Co. – June 16th & 17th

Another great option for solid laughs would be to attend Eddie Pepitone’s stand-up at Full Circle Brewing Co. at 7 pm Friday or Saturday night. Tickets are going for $25, a great price to see such a comedy legend that has worked with the likes of Dave Chapelle and featured on TV shows like It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Bob’s Burgers. This is a great way to spend your Friday or Saturday evening with good drinks and better laughs!

Yachtley Crew at Tower Theatre – June 16th

Are soft rock smooth jams your thing? Do you want to feel as if you’re somewhere on a yacht listening to the perfect tunes to set the vibe just right? This concert at Tower Theatre on Friday, June 16th at 8 pm is right up your alley. Tickets start at $39, and the value couldn’t be better. Even better, located in the heart of Fresno’s Tower District, there are plenty of bars to pregame or afterparty on a Friday night.

Sun Kissed Summer Festival at Chukchansi Park – June 23rd

If a dance party EDM music festival sounds like a great time, the Sun Kissed Summer Festival on Friday night at 8 pm is definitely your thing. The event is 18+, but there are 21 and older sections that will be serving alcohol to help get the party going and the beats bumping. The line-up includes San Holo, William Black, Haliene, and Amidy. General admission tickets are currently on sale for $30, and we think that’s a great price considering all the fun you’ll have.
