The Craft Episode 1: How to Support Equity in Cannabis

INTRODUCING OUR NEW VIDEO SERIES “THE CRAFT”, WHERE WE TALK ONE ON ONE WITH CANNABIS PIONEERS.

Our first episode features Nina Parks and Ramon Garcia, creators of the Equity Trade Certification and Network. We sat down to talk about their story, why they started, and the nuances of Equity programs within the California Cannabis Industry.

Nina and Ramon are two of the leading forces and activists in the cannabis industry creating a path that empowers and increases the visibility of entrepreneurs who have been adversely impacted by America’s decades-long War on Drugs.

As co-founders of the Equity Trade Network they have created a collective of forward-minded people advancing the cannabis industry’s sustainability and inclusivity while helping to repair the damage created by harmful past policies.

The Equity Trade Certification helps create an inclusive social equity environment, where entrepreneurs are equipped with the education and resources they need to succeed. By partnering with social justice organizations, social equity programs, and other industry stakeholders, Equity Trade Network is helping to create a cannabis social equity landscape that will benefit generations of people for years to come. Through their commitment to social equity and inclusivity, Equity Trade Network is leading the charge to repair the damage done by decades of inequitable cannabis policy.
